I work with Paul Szyszka on learning and memory in honeybees and conduct the behavioural experiments together with Christiane Demmler. We want to know, how and to what extent honeybees are able to recognize single components in odor mixtures. Additionally, we are interested in the phenomenon of trace extension, described by Szyszka et al. in 2011.
