The following links lead to movies which represent the response in the antennal lobe of honeybees to different odors, measured with calcium imaging (bath-applied calcium-green AM dye). We assigned musical notes to individual glomeruli, so that the spatio-dynamic response is also transformed into a musical representation. Click on the link to see a single response (WARNING - the movies are quite large and may take some time to download if the connection is slow. The size is indicated for your convenience).

For each movie, we have included a 'play' button which opens the movie in an html frame, and a 'download' button, which is directly linked to the movie. How to download depends on your browser and operating system (right click, long click, ctrl-click, open and then select 'save as' are just a few of the possibilities).

This set of responses differs from "Movies I" in respect to the odors represented, and the notes and sounds associated with the glomeruli.
